Purchased by Stamoulis Property Group (SPG) in September 2025, 357 Collins Street is synonymous with commerce and is intrinsically linked to the commercial fabric of Melbourne as the former home of the Stock Exchange.
The building offers highly efficient side-core floorplates across 22 levels, ranging in size from 770 sqm to 1,950 sqm (approx.) and supportive of a multitude of workplace types and configurations. The customers within the building are supported by approximately 1,800 sqm of retail amenity, within a vibrant, activated and highly curated community.
The ground floor lobby and lower ground food hall were re-imagined and transformed in 2024, and features artworks by Rowena Martinich and Beastman, creating a dynamic and unique environment that also serves to provide direct access to the Flinders Lane dining precinct and walkway through to Flinders Street station moments away.
A leader in sustainability, 357 Collins Street represents environmental sensitivity in its purest form by virtue of its transformation over 2010 - 2012 from a vacant building to a revitalised office and retail community via re-use of the substantial existing structure of the building and deployment of state of the art services technology. This strategy avoided the considerable carbon creation and pollution emission that would otherwise have been generated by a ‘greenfield’ development, and to this day, tenant customers also enjoy the benefits of competitively low outgoings when compared to other ‘A’ grade assets in Melbourne’s CBD.
357 Collins Street currently holds a 5 Star NABERS Energy, and 5 Star NABERS Water Rating.
The building’s central location within Collins Street endows it with extensive and easily accessible transport options, including a tram super stop located about 50m away, and a short walk further to Flinders Street Station - the gateway to Melbourne’s public transport network- located about 300m away. In addition, 357 Collins Street has secure tenant only basement car parking and renewed End of Trip (EOT) facilities to support cyclists and runners.
History of 357 Collins Street
Originally constructed in 1968 to serve as the headquarters for the Stock Exchange of Melbourne, 357 Collins Street stands proudly within Melbourne’s western core, one of the city’s most established commercial precincts. Upon the ASX moving out, the building sat vacant for almost 20 years before being materially transformed and re-ignited into the prime office and retail environment it offers today.
Following a major redevelopment spanning 2010 to 2012 that added approximately 22,000sqm of new space together with essentially new or renewed lifts, air conditioning and other services, 357 Collins became the first substantial ‘new’ office offering to come to market in the Melbourne CBD at the time. It was then home to the Commonwealth Bank Head Office from 2012, with more tenants continuing to move in. The building was further enhanced and revitalised in 2024 via the ground floor and lower-ground floor refurbishment, enhancing its amenity, performance and ambience.
