History of 380 St Kilda Road

The construction of 380 St Kilda Road was completed in 1989, during the period when St Kilda Road became one of Melbourne's principal office addresses outside the CBD grid.

Mirvac, who had owned the building since the late 1990s, commissioned Architectus to reposition the property in anticipation of the Metro Tunnel delivering a new station at the building’s doorstep. The program was delivered in stages between 2022 and 2025. It transformed the ground floor with new facades, an activated atrium and lobby, retail and collaborative spaces. It also upgraded the lift lobbies and amenities on every level and created high quality speculative suites. Added luxury included new end of trip facilities and the Level 8 rooftop terrace. The result, the asset would attract and retain tenants as the precinct was reimagined. The program marked the culmination of Mirvac’s long term stewardship of the asset, which was sold in 2026.

Anzac Station is part of the $13.5 billion Metro Tunnel and is Melbourne's first tram and train interchange. With the station now open, 380 St Kilda Road is a two minute walk from the platform and one stop (approx. four minutes) from Town Hall Station in the heart of the Melbourne CBD.
